Trev started swamping for M&R Trucking in July 1972 to start a life long career in the oilfield transportation business. He obtained a Class 1 Driving License at age 19 and moved drilling rigs until August 1974.

Trev started with Mack & Man Trucking in August, after leaving M&R, and worked there until 1980 moving service rigs, test equipment, rental equipment, construction equipment, seismic equipment and all other related service work. He drove winch tractors, bed trucks, picker trucks, truck pushed and dispatched when needed. He also helped in the moving of drilling rigs with M&R, Couglin, Primeau, Neil Brown, TNT, Raydan, Kelemen and who ever else was moving rigs at the time.

In 1980 he started his own company, Outlaw Trucking LTD, and purchased a winch tractor from Mack & Man where he stayed on as a lease operator until 1984.

After leaving Mack & Man, Trev went on his own, acquiring another bed truck and continued in business until 1989, at which time he sold his equipment and contracted out his services to White Pass Systems as a truck push for 2 years, to Merl Dahl Trucking as a bed truck driver for 4 years and other related jobs until 1995.

On June 1, 1995, Trev stated with Artie T. Kos Trucking Ltd as manager of their Babco Oilfield Hauling Division until 1999 and then went into dispatching for the Kos Rig Moving Division until 2001.

In November 2001 he moved to Whitecourt and started the Artie T. Kos Trucking Ltd Whitecourt Division, where he stayed as manager until November 2003.

Trev then went to Swanberg Bros. Trucking in Edson as their Branch Manager until August of 2006. He then started with Altam Holdings LTD as a specialized Rig Move Supervisor.

Trev has been in the rig moving/oilfield transportation business for 34 years and has a very good knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the oil industry
